Incident Management
Incident Management aims to record, classify, restore and close incidents. This process consists of a structured and consistent database of incidents already seen on the IS. Usually, this process is launched as an answer to a customer’s call or an automatic event coming from a security system for instance. According to ITIL’s norms, the main goal of that incident management process is to restore the service functioning as fast as possible consequently with a minimal breakdown for the company; thus insuring the best availability level and services.
