“BMC Configuration Discovery” (Marimba) is a discovery tool with tuner that provides the ability to get detailed configuration information. The tuners are deployed on strategic servers of the IT infrastructure to guarantee a maximal visibility on these servers supporting important business services. The data are stored in a base and can be used by the integration tool linked to a CMDB such as BMC Atrium CMDB for instance.
